World class BBQ without the wait. This is the tag line on Kerlin BBQ's Instagram page and it is spot on. Bill Kerlin, and his wife Amelis, are cranking out some of the barbecue in all of Texas and it is truly one of Austin's best kept secrets (for now). On a typical day, there is never a line more than 3-4 deep. The brisket, sausage, and ribs here are fantastic, BUT the star of the show is their famous "Kerlaches" - kolaches stuffed with brisket, pulled pork, or sausage. These sell out quickly so get there early if you want to make sure you get one...or three.
